Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero - Every Confirmed Character

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero is almost here, and it features an extensive roster of characters from the franchise. It follows hot on the heels of several terrific Dragon Ball games from the last couple of years. Fun action-RPGs like Dragon Ball: Xenoverse and Dragon Ball: Kakarot still have a dedicated audience and regular content drops, while Dragon Ball FighterZ gave fighting game fans an original story with pulse-pounding action.
For many longtime fans, nothing can beat the legendary Budokai Tenkaichi games, a trilogy of fighting games that were released in the mid-2000s. Notable for featuring the most stacked Dragon Ballroster possible, the franchise is making a return to the video game ring this year with Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, the fourth mainline entry in the series.
In a nutshell, if there's a character and a variant of them in Dragon Ball, they'll almost certainly make the cut for this game's massive roster. That's why there are so many Goku and Vegeta variants already, and the rest of the confirmed roster includes familiar faces and plenty of new characters hailing from Dragon Ball Super. This includes powerful new warriors like Jiren alongside Super Saiyan Blue versions of Goku and Vegeta, intergalactic assassin Hit, and dozens of other mighty fighters. Even Mr. Satan is ready to crumble!
So far, Goku has 20 unique variations, not including the two Goku Black characters as they're the result of Zamasu stealing his body in Dragon Ball Super. Vegeta falls a little short of his eternal rival in the numbers department--he's not going to like that--as there are 16 options to choose from.
We've rounded up every confirmed Dragon Ball character below, a gigantic list of 182 confirmed characters. Bandai Namco says this is the largest roster there has ever been in a Budokai Tenkaichi game, as it draws from almost every piece of Dragon Ball media.
"Whether you've been watching, reading, and playing Dragon Ball-related media for decades or you just have a loose familiarity with the main characters of the series, Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero feels like the ultimate love letter to the franchise from a series that was asleep for too long," Brian Shea wrote in GameSpot's Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero preview."
