The Lord of the Rings Deluxe Illustrated Box Set costs a staggering $292.50--and that's with a 10% discount off list price ($325). Not to be confused with the series of Tolkien Illustrated Editions--which we'll link to below--this box set is a remastered version of the 1992 hardcover edition featuring artist Alan Lee's iconic artwork of Middle-earth.

The Lord of the Rings Collector's Editions released alongside the first-ever publication of Tolkien's collected poems. This massive 1,728-page, three-book set contains work written across seven decades. Tolkien had a lifelong love of poetry, and he initially aspired to be a poet, not a fantasy novelist.

All told, there are 200 poems in the box set, some of which center on Middle-earth. Over 60 of these poems had never been published until now, so this is a rare opportunity to read previously unseen writing by Tolkien.
